Shawna Ketcher
Shawna sings lead/soprano for the group and is the daughter of Michael and Patty Newton. She has always loved to
sing and started performing at the ripe age of five when she stood on a chair to be seen. She has traveled with her
parents since she was sixteen, following her passion of singing for her Lord. While she is an avid reader, she also loves
to cross-stitch and does the bookmarks the group has on their product table. She and her husband, Sam, along with son
Gabe live in Pryor, Ok. and pastor the Valley Heights Freewill Baptist Church in Salina, Ok.

Patty Newton
Patty sings alto for the group and also enjoys sharing her testimony
of God's hand on her life as she went through the trial of a brain tumor. (Don't get her started talking about it unless
you're prepared to listen for a few minutes. She really gets excited and has the gift of gab!) Singing for the
Lord has been a life-long dream that she began as a teenager in her home church. She and her husband Michael have been
in various groups until God opened the way to make it a family group. Managing the group takes up most of her free
time, but she also loves to crochet and can usually do this while traveling to services. She attends Central Assembly
of God in Muskogee, Ok.

Michael Newton

Michael presently sings tenor for the group and has sang almost as long
as he can remember. He was a "preacher's kid" and he and his siblings often sang for his fathers services.
This led to requests for more services of only singing until his two brothers started pastoring themselves and moved
away. After God brought Patty into his life, they were again able to answer God's call for their life in their music
ministry. He's very much a homebody and loves to putter around the house, both in the upkeep and the yard. (He
can grow almost anything!) He and Curtis share in the driving and he is usually clowning around-although he is usually
shy when you first meet him. He and Patty live on 5 acres outside Coweta, Ok and they also attend Central Assembly
of God in Muskogee.

Curtis Kinney
Curtis is a full-blood Indian, sings bass for the group, and provides
some of the comic relief . (per Patty) He was also raised in a preacher's home and singing played an important part
in their services. He sang with several groups until he joined The Newtons in 1998. He is passionate about his
ministry and promotes several singings a year in the Muskogee area. He is known all over for his sense of humor and
love for Christ. (Patty thinks there is someone in every audience that knows him or they know someone in common!) One
of his favorite pastimes is spending time with his grandson-the apple of his eye! He has almost as much gift of gab
as Patty, and can often be found visiting with friends/fans/family/-really ANYONE in the Muskogee area-especially if there
is food involved! He attends Sand Springs Baptist Church in Muskogee, Ok, where he resides with his wife Susan and daughter
Rachel.
